Personal priorities are an important part of the fact finding process and the interview itself is an opportunity to consider the relative importance to the client of saving, insurance, pensions, mortgage tax planning. |
A good comparison with a financial fact find would be a medical examination carried out by your doctor before he provides medical advice. Whereas doctors are allowed six minutes for the average medical consultation a financial examination (or “Fact Find”) conducted by a financial adviser, before offering advice, normally takes between one and two hours. All initial meetings are free for all clients. |
